Privacy Policy
1. Core Privacy Commitments
We have designed SuperLead Pro around three fundamental principles that align with the Chrome Web Store Program Policies:
We do not sell or share your business data.
Business records you create — including business names, websites, phone numbers, email addresses, and
social profile links — are stored in your browser's local storage
(chrome.storage.local). This data lives on your device and is not transmitted to
SuperLead Pro servers.
The extension does one thing: help you research public business contact information.
SuperLead Pro requests only the permissions it needs for visible map result export, website contact lookup, quick scan, bulk URL checking, local storage, and local export. It does not access your Gmail, calendar, bookmarks, saved passwords, or unrelated browser data.
The extension runs only after a user action.
SuperLead Pro activates when you click an extension button or submit URLs. It does not monitor your browsing, does not run hidden background collection, and does not check websites unless you start a map export, website check, quick scan, or bulk URL check.
2. About SuperLead Pro
SuperLead Pro is a Chrome browser extension designed for sales professionals and marketing agencies. Its sole purpose is to help users organize and export publicly available business contact information from pages they choose to review.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect or Store on Our Servers
The following extension data is not sent to SuperLead Pro's servers:
- Account or Login Information: SuperLead Pro does not require you to create a user account, register, or log in to use the extension. It operates anonymously on your device (only your purchase license key is verified dynamically to unlock Pro features).
- Any business records, business names, phone numbers, or emails you create in the extension.
- Your Google Maps search queries.
- The websites you visit or URLs you scan.
- Your browsing history before, during, or after using the extension.
- Business contact details saved by the extension, including emails, phone numbers, and social profile links.
4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This
data is controlled by you in your browser:
- Business Data: Business names, phone numbers, websites, emails, and social links you collect.
- Your Preferences: Export limit, website check setting, dark/light theme preference.
- License Data: Your license key and Pro status may be stored locally so the extension can keep Pro features active between browser sessions.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clicking "Clear All" inside the extension, or by uninstalling the extension.
5. Permissions We Request and Why
SuperLead Pro requests permissions only for the extension's stated features. Here is exactly why each permission is needed:
- activeTab: To read the active tab after you click an extension action, such as exporting visible map results or scanning the current page.
- storage: To save business records, preferences, notes, and license status locally on your device.
- scripting: To run user-triggered page checks on the active map page or the website page you choose to scan.
- tabs: To identify the current tab, switch back to your original tab after a website check, and manage user-started website lookup tabs.
- alarms: To keep a user-started website check reliable while Chrome's Manifest V3 service worker may suspend between tasks.
- sidePanel: To display the extension's interface in Chrome's side panel.
- Required Host Permissions: Access to Google Maps URLs is used only for map result export after you start that action. Access to SuperLead Pro and the license provider is used for pricing and license activation.
- Optional Website Host Permissions: Access to other websites is requested at runtime only when you start Quick Scan, website contact lookup, or bulk URL checks. The extension requests access for the website origins involved in that selected workflow.
6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Compliance
SuperLead Pro's use of extension data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We use extension data only to provide and improve the extension's user-facing features.
- We do not sell extension user data.
- We do not use extension user data for advertising or retargeting.
- We do not transfer business data to third parties, except when you choose to export or share it yourself.
- We do not use business data for credit, lending, insurance, employment, housing, or eligibility decisions.
- Human access to user data is not performed except when required for security, legal compliance, or user-requested support.
7. License Key Verification
When you activate a paid license key, the extension sends a single API request to our payment or license provider to verify the key's validity. This request contains only the license key and product/license verification fields required by the provider. Business data, browsing history, map searches, and exported files are not included.
8. Our Website
Our marketing website may collect standard, anonymous server-side analytics such as page view counts. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting on our website.
9. Children's Privacy
SuperLead Pro is designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
